Look at what I found

Header.

Which header is the best?

1. The Original

2. A new look on the original

3. The New One

Star Link Guide

This is what the game card look like.

You start out with a board.

You click on the lines and try to make boxes. the person with the most boxes at the end wins.

Balloons Guide

This is what the game card looks like. It is practicly connect four with ballons. You click on a nozle to launch a balloon. If you wait to long without going, the other person gets to go multiple times in a row.

Like I said, its like connect four, so just get four balloons in a row to win.

Soupwords Guide

The game card looks like this.

You click on letters in the soup bowl that spell a word. You can see what you've clicked on in the spoon at the bottom. Often, they put words together. Like no and not. You play until the soup gets cold. That happens when the thermometer hits the bottom, like a timer.

At the end it shows you all the words you spelled corectly and your points.

Island Guide Page

I now have the Island Guide Page completely up to date so head on over and check it out! I'm now going to move onto completing the Game Guides Page.

Brought to you by FBTV.

Wimpy Wonderland Guide

Get off the blimp, and the first person you see will be Greg Heffley. Talk to him, and he will tell you that his little brother Manny, who he was supposed to be babysitting while his mom was at work, has somehow escaped from their house. Follow Greg back to his house to look for clues. Once you get there, poke around a little bit until you find a page from Greg’s diary and an address book.

Go up to Manny’s room. One of the windows is open. Exit out that window, and follow the trail of Manny’s footprints until you get to Greg’s friend Rowley, who will tell you that his “rumble bike” has been stolen. Then, you will see Manny coasting down the hill on the bike.

Chase after him, and you will find the rumble bike abandoned by the Fast Mart. You can pick it up if you want to – you don’t need it to complete the island, but it’s fun to ride around on. Next, chase Manny, who is standing right next to the rumble bike, up a tree. He will jump off the tree and get away.

Go right until you reach the school. The school is closed for a snow day, but you will see Manny jump into a window and get inside. However, you will not be able to jump into that window because it is too high. So, you need to go down near the entrance of the school and find the little trash can that you can push around. This part is tricky. Push the trash can onto the left end of the seesaw, and jump on the right end. This will propel the trash can onto the second floor of the school building. Use it as a stool to get into the window that Manny jumped in.

Chase Manny out the door, and then go up to Greg’s locker. Open it, the combination is 9-37-15 – you can find a piece of paper with those numbers on the tree near the school, and you will find a Twisted Wizard game guide. Now, go right to the Leisure Towers. Since no one under 21 is allowed inside, you will have to climb up the building, dodging angry old people and the objects they throw at you, in order to get to apartment 33C, where Greg’s grandpa lives.

Gramps will tell you that he has seen Manny, and offer to discuss it over lunch. Once you manage to choke down Grandpa’s nauseating watercress salad by rapidly clicking with your mouse button as fast as you can, he will tell you that he has seen Manny on the security cameras of his building.

Leave the Leisure Towers and go right, to Whirley Street. There will be a gang of kids chucking snowballs at you. Dodge them as best as you can and pick up the snow shovel that is there. Then go allll the way left until you reach the screen with the Laundromat. There will be a house there – it belongs to Greg’s grandma. Go inside, and she will tell you that she will help you look for Manny if you can shovel her driveway. Do so, and then Gramma will tell you that she will look for Manny – as soon as she plays a game of bingo at the Leisure Towers.

Go back to Greg’s house, and you will find Greg (that slacker!) playing video games. Use your game guide to help him past a level he’s stuck on, and then Greg will ask you to return the game to Rowley. Rowley, however, is stuck inside his house. He asks you to come in, and not to touch his dad’s car. If you knock on the door, though, his dad won’t let you in. So, go over to the dad’s car and jump on it. When the dad comes outside to see what is wrong, hide in the bushes. Sneak into Rowley’s house when his back is turned. Return the game to Rowley, and he will reward you with a Joshie fan club membership card. (He is one weird kid.)

Go back to Greg’s house, and use the card to open the laundry room door, which is jammed. Then, shut off the power in Rodrick’s room. He will leave and take his van with him. Go inside Rodrick’s room and take the dog bowl that is lying there (it’s the orange one labeled “Sweaty”; can’t miss it). Then go to the garage and grab the leaf blower. Leave the garage (the exit is at the bottom of the screen) and go left until you see a snowman (the creepy one that says “Mrf” when you speak to it).

Use your leaf blower to blow away the snow from the snowman, revealing… Fregley! He will give you a bingo troll doll as a thank-you gift. Now, go back to the Leisure Towers. Use your troll doll as a blotter to play a game of Bingo. When you win (you will eventually, just concentrate on finding all those numbers and mark them down – don’t forget the free center space!) you are rewarded with a classical music CD.

Go left until you see the Fast Mart. When you go inside, you will see a man complaining about the teens hanging around outside. He says he will give you a bottle of wiper fluid if you can drive them away. Use your CD in the music box by the entrance to shoo the teenagers away. Once you get your wiper fluid, go right until you reach the school.

Just past the school building, you will see a guy with a plow. He tells you that he can’t drive because his windshield wipers are frozen. Use the wiper fluid to help him extract exactly the 4 liters he needs.

Pour the 10-liter No-Freez jug into the Sweaty dog bowl.
Pour the contents of the dog bowl into the middle cup.
Pour the contents of the No-Freez jug into the dog bowl.
Go back to Greg’s house for the last time. He is playing video games again. Argg…. Open up the curtains next to where he’s sitting and he will get zapped by the light. Greg tells you that Manny is probably just looking for his blanket, Tingy, and that if you find the blanket, you’ll find Manny. Now, go left until you reach the Laundromat. Manny has taken the plow and plowed the entrance, so you can go in now.

You’ll find Manny and Tingy sitting by a washing machine. Now you, Greg, and Manny just have to get home before Greg’s parents do. You leave the Laundromat when suddenly…the Whirley Street kids are at it again, attacking you with snowballs. You and Greg mow them over with a giant snowball (click on it), and then sled home.

Greg’s mom is pulling into the driveway just as you arrive, and congratulates Greg on his responsibility. To reward you for your help, Greg gives you the island medallion. Congratulations, you have completed Wimpy Wonderland Island and earned 100 credits!

Wild West Guide

Go to Wild West Island if you’re not there yet. Go right until you see a cowboy trying to trade your future horsie companion, Elmer. Try to tame it, by talking to the cowboy. Try to keep your cursor over the white one, and once Elmer gets tamed, he’s all yours. You’ll get a little whistle for when you and Elmer get separarted.
Then, go talk to the lady on the horse, and she’ll give you a letter for the Marshal in Diamon Plains. Now you and Elmer can leave town. Once you leave, pull down your map on the top right hand corner to see Diamond Plains. Go there.
Go right, to the Saloon. Talk to some guys that are throwing gum. Join them, and play. Throw your gum, when your aim is perfect into the pot. Afeter you win, you will find out that the Marshal is the snoring guy towards the end of the shop. You will go and tell him you have a letter for him, but you’ll have to read it. He won’t help, so you’ll be the new Marshal. He’ll give you his Marshal Badge. You are to take down the El Mustachio Gang.
Put it on to show everyone who’s boss. You can leave Diamond Plains now. Go back to Dusty Gulch, and get your picture taken. You have to hold the camera on you, while it develops. You’ll get your You Portrait. Go back to Diamond Plains, and enter the Marshal Builiding.
That is what the shop looks like, and that is what Elmer looks like. And in case you were wondering how the Member’s only outfit looks like, I am wearing it. Go inside. Use your picture, and since you are oficially the new Marshal, you get the Pea Shooter! Do you realize that you can now shoot peas? Anyway, just as you get the Shooter, the ground will begin to shake. El Mustachio’s Gang is rescuing the jailed person! They will take off, but you and Elmer have to help! Follow the Mustachio horses, until they go into the train entrance. Then you’ll say they got away. So you just go to Dos Cactos.
Find the star in Dos Cactos, and enter from the shooting side. Once in there, enter the shooting contest by talking to everyone. Once you start.
Aim about one centemeter above your object. Then shoot. Even if you have a few left, it’s better to reload as soon as possibe. You will have to play against a few opponents, and finally, after you win, you’ll get a Spud Gun. Now, go up the little hill to the Casino. Go inside, and go to the top floor. Talk to the guy with cards on his hat. You’re gonna play a game of Slap Jack! What you have to do, is you just put cards in the center, and when you see a Jack in the center, you slap it! But here’s the catch: the opponents move the Jack, so you have to be sure it’s properly placed before slapping it. Otherwise, you lose a card.
When you have all the cards, you win. You’ll get a map for gold. You’re done with the Casino, so go to Rock Ridge. Talk to the Cowgirl with orange hair. She needs her cow, and after talking to you, she’ll give you a Lasso. Go find that cow! Activate your Lasso, by using your spacebar. Follow the little trail of hoofprints, and go North a little bit. You’ll find the little cow. When your Lasso is pointing straight her, use your spacebar again. The cow will resist, and don’t froce her yet. But after a little while, she’ll know who’s boss, and she’ll follow you. Lead her to the ranch.
After you’ve led her there, go back to Rock Ridge. Talk to the Cowgirl. You’ll get an Old Saddle. The cowgirl will say something about 5 more cows. But we’ll come back to that later. Go right, and R.J. Earls will give someone a bad potion that will make them invisible. Now leave the town and Lasso five more cows. After you’re done with that, go talk to the Cowgirl again. She’ll give you the secret Rattlesnake Wrangler outfit.
The secret outfit is not nessecary to complete this island. It is an extra. Anyway, go to Dusty Gulch. Go to the Trading Post. Talk to the Trader, and trade your Old Saddle for a Gold Pan.
Once you get there, examine it. You have to pan for gold.
You can go back to Dusty Gulch and trade again. This time, trade your pan for the Oil. Now go to Diamond Plains. Find the guy, and he will be standing infront of a door thing. Go inside that.
For this inside part, you will have to pull a few different levers and push some boxes. Just make sure you get to the top. You will see a giant thingy with gears and stuff.
Only it’s gonna look really dirtyy and rusty. Click on it, and use your oil for all the gears that connect one side of the clock to the other. Use the oil on them until they let of a shine. Then, they should work. Leave that room, and go to Rock Ridge. Talk to R.J. Earls and use your Gold Nugget. He’ll give you some of everything. Go back to Diamond Plains, and get off of Elmer. Ride the train, and say that you wanna go to Dos Cactos. For this next part, shoot your heart out. The Mustachio gang is at it again! Use your Spud Gun, and shoot at them! The Concentration Carbohydrate will make it slow down, but you only have a limited supply. You must shoot each person three times. Reload whenever possible. You will arrive in Dos Cactos after a while, and talk to the boy with the big head. He wants a blue tulip. Go back on the train, and ride to Rock Ridge.
Click on the Canary to shoot it. Don’t worry, it’ll only make him drop his keys. Grab them, and go left to the door with the lock. Use the keys to go inside. Inside the mine, go right. Rocks will drop. Go right and drop on the Mining cart. This next part is similar to Nabooti Island, except instead of ducking and jumping, you have to shoot at the targets. Ride, and then you’ll come to a stop. Find the Blue Tulip and go up.
Do NOT ask me why there is a cow there. I honestly don’t know.
Once you go up, go right. A guy will be crying. Apparently Mustachio and his gang have wreaked havoc. Above the Crying Dude’s head, there is a piece of paper. Grab it. Go to Dos Cactos. Give the Tulip to the kid with the giant head. His head will shrink to normal and he will give you the other half of the map to the hideout. Are you rady for the battle with Mustachio? Well, this is it!
The yellow star. Go there, and use the Transparency Tonic. Then, sneak past them. Go inside their cabin for the Final Shootout. You will have to get rid of everyone, except El Mustachio Grande. Make sure not to get shot. For the girl in purple, shoot at the money bags above her. They’ll spill, and then shoot at her using Concentration Carbohydrate. For the guy in blue, next to Mustachio, shoot at the candle, which will put the rope on fire. Get rid of him using CC. For the guy with the Orange beard, shoot the gun lying under the cow head. Take him out using CC. For the other guy wwith a Sombrero, hit the wheel, and take him out. Then El Mustachio will take off. Take off after him. Follow Mustachio, and then Lasso him. Take him to Diamond Plains. El Mustachio Grande will be sent to jail, and you’ll get your Medallion and 100 credits! Congrats!
A huge thank you goes to Super Thunder for writing this guide!

Great Pumpkin Guide

Written by Hijuyo
Edited by Fuzzy-B

Start off by going to the right of Great Pumpkin Island to the pumpkin patch. Find Linus and talk to him. He will ask you to give his sister the heaviest pumpkin. To do this, put any two random pumpkins on the balance scale to measure them. Set the lighter pumpkin off to the side so you won’t pick it up again, and keep weighing the pumpkins until you get to the heaviest one (the last one remaining), and give it to Lucy.

Lucy will then ask you to roll the pumpkin over to the Van Pelt house. To do this, just keep pushing it. When you reach the rabbit holes, don’t let the rabbits come up under the pumpkin. If it touches a rabbit head, it will be sent flying and you’d have to start over at either the starting point or the last flag you passed. To avoid getting it stuck in the log, build up speed on the pumpkin before rolling it through there. At the swing set, get as close as possible and stop, then roll through quickly while all three kids swing back.

At the Van Pelt house, speak to Linus and he will reward you with a Trick-or-Treat Bag. Then Lucy will chop the pumpkin, and a quick cutscene will follow. Later, give the bag to Pig-Pen (the dusty boy outside the house), and he will give you a lemon-flavored Sucker in return. Return to Linus, give him the sucker, and he will give you a Party Invitation. When he leaves the room, walk over to his desk and pick up the Pen. Exit the house.

Walk left to reach Charlie Brown’s Backyard. Talk to Charlie, and he’ll ask Snoopy to help him put the falling leaves into a pile. You will then get to play as Snoopy – your task is to wait for a leaf to fall and use the dog’s breath to move left until the leaf rests onto the pile of leaves. Do this for 5 leaves. Then Linus, with his wet sucker and blanket flying behind him like a cape, will jump in and ruin the pile. Go back to Main Street, where you will find Linus by the mailbox. Talk to him, and he’ll wonder where is blanket went. Go back to the backyard, click on the remains of the pile, and move your cursor in a fast and circular motion to blow the leaves out of the way, revealing Linus’ Blanket.

Go back to Main Street and and return the blanket to Linus, who is standing by the mailbox at the far right. He will use the blanket to mail his letter to the Great Pumpkin. Now return to the backyard, where Lucy is trying to talk Charlie Brown into letting her practice a football trick with him. She even asks him to sign a document stating that she won’t trick him, but Charlie doesn’t have a pen. Give Charlie the pen you got from Linus’ desk and he will sign the contract. However, Lucy tricks him anyway and he falls flat on his back trying to kick, plus it turns out the contract was never notarized.

Pick up the Football from the ground and go over to Snoopy. Throw it up in the air, and the aviator cap will be knocked out of the tree. Now playing as a World War I flying ace (Snoopy), your mission is to infiltrate the enemy’s territory and last 60 seconds without being shot down to succeed. All you have to do is fly around on Snoopy’s doghouse and avoid the bombs being dropped from the Red Baron’s plane. One way is to fly inverted along the top of the screen. When he drops bombs, veer back the opposite way to dodge them.

Crashing behind enemy lines, your character and Snoopy will have to avoid being seen by the searchlight. Hide behind rocks, in a trench, in a haystack, behind a road marker, in the river, behind a bush, and finally behind a chimney. Click to go right.

Take the green Halloween Mask off the scarecrow and put it on. Enter the farmhouse and a voice will welcome you, saying, “Come on in and join the party!” Inside, you will see kids from the Peanuts gang partying in the spirit of Halloween. Succeed at each of the party games:

Bobbing for Apples: Click on apples when they are up. Bite 6 of them, and don’t miss – three strikes before you win means you have to play again!
Drawing a Jack o’ Lantern: Carve out any reasonable face you like into the pumpkin by drawing on Charlie Brown, who is modeling for this task.
Pin the Face on the Pumpkin: Put each of the 5 features (stem, right eye, mouth, nose, and left eye) close to where they belong, in the dark. Get at least 85% accuracy to win.
Schroeder’s Piano: To play the song, press the key below each of the falling balls when it enters a box in the row above the keys. Hit the correct notes while keeping Snoopy’s dance rate above the red line to win. There will be sound when playing this game!
Once that’s done, you get to go trick-or-treating! Go with the gang dressed up in costumes when they walk away from the pumpkin patch. Knock on the door by clicking on the house. Candy will be thrown into the air. Jump up to get one of the treats – in the 4 houses you go to, your goal is to get 4 different types of candy. Each time, the gang will report on what they received – and Charlie Brown will always get a rock.

Take the Bag of Candy to share with Linus and Sally back at the pumpkin patch. A cutscene will follow where Sally storms off angrily, having been cheated out of tricks-or-treats time. Lucy comes in thanks you for watching her over little brother Linus, who later falls asleep in the pumpkin patch. She will award you with the island medallion and 100 credits to spend in the Poptropica Store.

Cryptids Guide

Written by Super Thunder and EmoEyedFreak
Edited by Hijuyo
Edited by Fuzzy-B

For the idea of the challenge head to the Mews foundations website!
Take a blimp ride to Cryptids Island, if you aren’t already there. You will arrive on Main Street. Walk right until you see a guy with a soccer ball, talk to him and he will hand you the flyer for the million dollar reward. Go right until you get to a tree. There should be a five dollar bill in there. Grab it. Then go to the General Store, and click Use on the $5.00.

You will obtain Poptropica’s Favorite Sports Drink!
Go back to the street that’s all the way to the right. Take the drink to the gardener who is standing in front of all the mansions. Then he’ll say that he will take a break and walk away. You obtain the Shears! (Extra: You can use the shears on the lady’s bush. Go all the way to the other side of the island, and find the girl in a hang glider. Give her a push. Now jump up to the person in a balloon seat. Cut the rope with your Gardening Shears. Get the extra Nylon Rope.
Now go to Kitty’s Kites on Main Street and click Use on the Nylon Rope. You will be given the kite surfing kite. Go back to the park and go all the way to the edge. You will surf for a while and you will see Gretchen. She’s like the updated Betty Jetty. She’ll throw fire balls at your kite, burning your connection to the kite, and you’ll sink. Then the Mews-Coptor-5000 comes and saves the day! The last thing you see is that Mews helicopter, before you pass out.
You will wake up, lying down, in a room. Mews will come tell you to meet in the foyer. First, you have to drink the water that should be by your nightstand. Then go to the foyer. The inside should have a sign that says Welcome to the Cryptid Museum. Since Harold Mews is not there yet, check out all the videos. Then Mews will arrive. You’ll join the quest to find Cryptids! Yay! Go outside the mansion and go check out the private helicopter.
Once your on your helicopter, go to Loch Ness. You can do these in any order, but I’m doing them in the easiest order.
Go right, to the Pub. Inside the pub, grab the matches and talk to the dude.
Play a game of darts with him. After you win, he’ll give you a ticket for a ride on the rowboat, Lil’ Ness.
Go back left, and under the bridge, there should be a guy with a yellow jeep. Talk to him, and then click on his tire. Blow it out, and you will get a camera. Now go take a ride on the Lil’  Ness. Take a picture of the thing that looks like Nessie. Go back to the Mews mansion. Show him Nessie’s picture. You will find out it’s fake. Go back to Loch Ness, and talk to the liar. He will go away. Now, go back to the pub. Talk to the guys who are hanging out. You will play another game of darts, and the you will get the submarine ticket.
Take a picture of the Nessie that looks weird. Go to the Pub. Show them the picture. They will show a newspaper article. Oh! Looks like another fake. Sigh. Then you will have to play another darts game! The bartender, feeling bad for you, will give you a Penny Whistle. Go on the Lil’ Ness, and go left.
Go left again. Blow the whistle and Nessie appears. Take a picture, and go to the Mews Mansion! The Nessie case will be confirmed. Now go back to your helicopter, and go to the Himalayas.
Once you arrive at the Himalayas, go up a bit, until you see the Sherpa guy with stuff on his back.
Climb the mountain with him, and when the wind is blowing strong, just try anyway. Tie yourself slowly. You will arrive with the monks. Go inside the building, and talk to the monk at the far right corner. They won’t let you take Bigfoot evidence, but they will give you a lantern. Make sure you light it. Then go outside, and climb a little bit up. Talk to the monk.
You will play a quick game, which is actually very simple. Just don’t get trapped. Then he will let you pass. Go up and there will be a foot in the snow. Take a picture of it.
Go back to the Mews mansion. It’s just a snowshoe footprint. Now you can go to New Jersey.
When you arrive, jump on top of thge gas station. Cut the girl free using your gardening shears. Then, jump on a cool car.
You will need the “Bathroom Door Message” for instructions on where to go. Next to the motorbike is a dumpster. You can cut open the lock with bolt cutters, which you can get from Puerto by riding the jeep to the farthest farm. There should be bolt cutters you can pick up at the very top of a rock.
When you get back to New Jersey and unlock the dumpster, pulling out a bathroom door, you will need to enter the building just next to it and match it with the other door. Your character will then copy down the completed message. Otherwise, you can just use this for your reference:
Follow these instructions, and you will finally come to a small clearing like this* (*= see below picture), look around there and find a house.
In the house, go to the attic. You will hear something, and it will turn out to be a racoon. Next to the racoon, there should be a grappling hook. Get it. On your way down, you should see a thing. Could it be the Jersey Devil?! Go outside, and the Jersey Devil will fly away. Use your grappling hook. Climb up.
Get the egg. Now go back left. Get on your helicopter, and head to Puerto Rico.
Talk to the farmer. He will give you seeds to take to his brother, and lend you his jeep. Get on the jeep and go North, to the top right hand corner star. Give the other farmer the seeds, and go left, to grab the fur. Go back to the main farm, and go to the Mews mansion. Use the sample fur, and follow everything in the exact order. It’s just coyote fur. Sigh. Now use the egg! Another confirmed case! Go back to Puerto Rico, and go to the jeep. Now, herd three brown with white spotted goats to the middle star.
Land there. Nothing will happen. Go find the main farm guide. He will help you. Hide next to the boulders. You will hear a THUMP! Go move the box. Suddenly, it will shake and open, and out will pop the… CHUPACABRA!!! It will growl at you, and run away, and leave you inn the groung with stars circling your head. Go where the chupacabra was, and grab its tooth. Head back to the Mews mansion, and confirmed! But, wait! You still have to find Bigfoot!
Mews will tell you that Bigfoot has been spotted in the Pacific Northwest. It has been installed in the helicopter. Go to your helicopter, and go to the Pacific Northwest.
When you arrive, Bigfoot will be running around. Follow him for a while, and then Mews will send you a messege. But Gretchen will listen in on it. She will capture Bigfoot. Now you have to stop Gretchen. Jump on her helicopter. Let all the fuel out. Now use your gardening shears. You and Bigfoot will float down to safety! Yay! You and Mews will talk, and then you will get your medallion and 100 credits!

Island Guides

Hey it's me! I'm getting this blog back up to date. I am working on my island guide page an hope to have it done this weekend and am going to start posting news from then on. Have fun reading young Poptropicans!

Steamworks Island Guide

Main Street

* Walk over to the Clockwork Cantina and complete the gear puzzle. Place the two brown gears on the ends and the three blue gears go in the middle. Turn the crank when they’re all in place. Now pick up the Multi-Tool that just appeared on the ground.
* Now walk to the right and you’ll see a garbage bin. Jump up on it to get the Steam Battery.
* Walk to the right again and go inside the Museum. Run to the right and you’ll see a big yellow machine. Click on the blue lever to raise the arm. Then jump up on the platforms and make your way to the upper-right corner. Watch out for the darker platforms which will crumble and fall when you step on them. Grab the dirty beaker out of the display case in top right. Then exit the museum.
* Go back to the Clockwork Cantina. Jump up and click on the blue lever here. A mechanical ramp will extend. Run up it and then jump onto the steam chutes to fly up and over the tower. You should land on top of a glass dome. Use your multi-tool to open it and then go down inside.
* You’re now inside the Mayor’s office. Check out the painting and the note on the typewriter, which give you an important number to remember for later: 0516. Leave the office, jump back down to the street and run to the left to enter the next zone.

Gear Alley

* Pass by Sully’s shop and go to the blue building in the middle. This is the living quarters. Jump up the platforms on the left side and then run past the door. You’ll see a robot crab here. Jump up and land on top of him to make him bounce and flip over. When he does, he’ll drop Sully’s key. Pick up both the key and the robot crab.
* Drop down to the street and go to the next building on the left. Jump up on to the steam chute and leap up to the roof. You’ll find an old vine here. Pick it up to place it in your backpack.
* Run to the right until you get in front of Sully’s Steam Powered Paraphernalia store. There’s a Steam Terminal here. Use the steam battery in your backpack. You’ll get a puzzle here where you have to regulate the steam pressure in the terminal. The starting pressure is 10 and the ending pressure needs to be 5. You need to adjust the valves so that the pressure will lose five points as it travels to the end.

Sully’s Shop

* Once you get inside Sully’s you’ll find a robot in the right corner. It’s Sprocket! Ring the bell on the desk next to him to wake him up. Then go pick up the rubber mallet from the junk box in the left corner.
* Leave Sully’s and Sprocket will follow you. If you click on him you can ask him some questions. He’s not very talkative right now but you’ll hear a lot more from him later.
* Head to the right to return to Main Street. Run all the way to the right side and then proceed onto the next zone, known as the Hub.

The Hub

* When you arrive in the Hub, run along the ramp until you get to a metal hatch that is glowing red-hot. If you try to click it, you’ll see it’s much too hot to touch. Walk up to it and use the robot crab in your backpack. Sprocket the robot will take it from you and then drop the poor crab on top of the hatch. The water from the robot will cool down the hatch so that you can open it up.
* Go down the hatch. When you get to the bottom of the ladder, Sprocket will look pretty scared. Make your way down the pipes until you run into a plant monster living inside them. Use the old vine from your backpack underneath the sign that says, Caution: Hot Steam. This will spray steam onto the plant monster and kill it. Move along to the bottom left of the room and you’ll find the bottom of an elevator. Click on the round hatch above.
* Now you’ll need to solve three levels of a ball tilt maze game that’s a lot like the classic wooden box Labyrinth game. Spin the wheel either clockwise or counter-clockwise with your cursor to get the ball to the center. After you complete all three levels, the elevator will power up.
* Go back up out of this area to the street. Go a few steps to the right and jump up onto the spring. After three jumps, you should land up next to another blue lever. Click the lever and the giant Hub wheel will start to move.
* Go back down onto the street and run to the left. Jump up and grab the vines and climb up to a platform. Wait for the moving platform on the Hub wheel to come around and then jump onto it. Then jump off in the upper right corner (aim for the yellow pipe). Walk to the right and use the steam valve to jump up and to the left. Continue moving until you get to the elevator entrance to the Captain’s Cabin. Then go inside.
* A soon as you enter, Sprocket will be captured by some plant vines. Go down and click on the metal window shutters to snap the vines and free him. When you do, he’ll speak to you for the first time and say, “Thank you.” Now you can talk to him and ask him questions and hear his story.
* Run to the right and use the moving platforms to get up to the large painting. It’s a copy of the painting you saw in the mayor’s office.
* Click on the dial at the bottom of the picture. This is a combination lock. The combination is the number from the mayor’s office: 0516. Starting with the innermost ring, click on each triangle to get the wheel to spin. Then click on it again when it’s pointing to the right number. The rings get faster so this can be tricky.
* When you get the combination right, a secret door will open. Go inside and you’ll be in Captain Ziggs’ room. Go to the left and pick up the bridge key (on the floor) and the Weed Whacker (up on the wall). Then leave the room.
* Go down and to the right and jump off the patio to return to the Hub zone. Go right until you get to the Steam Terminal at the end. Use the steam battery and then solve the puzzle. It’s just like the first one, but now you need to adjust the pressure from 10 to 16 (+6). Once you’re successful, the bridge will lower and you can run across.

Production Zone

* Take a few steps to the right and jump on the spring to get to the platform above. There’s a control panel here with three red levers and a green button. Move all the levers to the down position and then press the green button. The giant wrecking ball will drop and hit the ground, creating a hole.

Factory

* Jump down and go through the hole. Make your way down and to the right and you’ll enter a mechanical room. First, press the three red pressure pads on each side of the machine. Then you’ll need to press the two remaining pads (the ones on the machine) at the same time. Sprocket will offer to hold down one while you get the other.
* The machine will turn on and the moving platforms above will start turning. Use this to get up to the top of the room. There’s a lever on the left wall. Click it to get another platform to move up and down. Then jump up to the right and use the platforms and vines to get to a moving conveyer belt. Here you’ll need to avoid blobs that drop from a plant monster.
* Continue across the vines and soon you’ll find the Mech Steam Motor, one of two parts you’ll need to repair the Mech in Sully’s shop garage. Continue up on the vines and go up to the Greenhouse.

Greenhouse

* Walk to the left and you’ll find an area for mixing Herbicide. Pay attention to the chart on the wall. Use the dirty beaker from your backpack and then fill it with three parts blue, two parts green and four parts red. When you’re done, you’ll have some Herbicide Mixture.
* Go to the right and then up to the platform above. Use the herbicide on the plant monster. It will shrink and disappear, revealing a maintenance closet. Go inside.
* There’s an old custodian robot here. He’s holding onto the Living Quarters Access Key. Take it from him and then he’ll wake up and the alarm system will go off. You can’t leave the way you came because the security system has a pressure hose that knocks you back.
* Go back out of the maintenance closet and then climb the vines above. Go to the left and you’ll see that the glass dome has some tiny white cracks here. Use the rubber mallet from your backpack to smash a hole in the dome and escape.
* Now run all the way back to Gear Alley, which is on the left of Main Street.

Gear Alley Redux

* When you arrive, go to the bottom of the living quarters building (blue) and jump on the right platform of the lever on the gear. This will raise the one on the left.
* Take a few steps to the left, then jump up the platforms to arrive at the doorway to the living quarters. Use your steam battery on the terminal and then solve the steam valve puzzle again. This time, you need to adjust the steam by -3 to get it from 10 to 7. The door will open. Go inside.

Living Quarters

* Go click on the blue lever on the left to make the platform rise. Use it to get up to the next level and continue making your way up. Jump on the blue button on the floor to make the ladder rise. You’ll need to quickly jump up the ladder because it falls back down a second or two later. When you get to the top left, there’s another door leading to Zack’s room. Go through it.

Zack’s Room

* Go up to the top left corner and click on the wall to solve the next puzzle, which is a timed game where you have to get the steam to move safely from one corner to the other. You must click on the squares to reveal pipes underneath and then swap the pipes around to create a clear path. There are three levels to get through.
* Go outside and then cross over the vine that acts as a tightrope all the way to the left, where you’ll find the Mech Crank which is the second piece you need to repair the Mech in Sully’s Garage.
* Jump down to the street below and then go to Sully’s Garage.

Sully’s Garage

* Use both the Mech Crank and the Steam Motor from your backpack on the Mech. It will be repaired and now you can walk around in the Mech. Is this the coolest thing ever in Poptropica or what? You’ll also get a teleporter device that you can use to instantly travel back to the Mech from anywhere you go on Steamworks.
* Walking in the Mech, head out of the garage and over to the left. There’s a big doorway covered by vines. Attach the weed whacker from your backpack to the Mech and then use the spacebar to smash all the vines. Go through the door when it’s clear.

Storage Room

* Now you’re inside a storage area. Make your way through, using the space bar to smash plant monsters that attack. At one point, you’ll need to leave your Mech and power up one of the lifts. Then get back in the Mech and ride it up to the next platform.
* Continue through this zone, killing plant monsters as you go until you get to the final plant monster in the room and get rid of him. Go through the doorway to the next zone.

Wind Zone

* Go down the ramp to the left and you’ll find a giant windmill. Walk all the way up to the blades and then Sprocket will offer to help.
* Exit the Mech and stand on the blades as they spin to ride almost to the top. Then jump onto the platform above. Use your multi-tool to stop the blades. Sprocket will open the door.
* Get back in the Mech and go through the doorway.

Hibernation Center

* And now we finally learn the secret of what happened to all the inhabitants of Steamworks Island. First, exit the Mech and go to the machine. Use the multi-tool on it and the room will light up.
* Zack will emerge from hid hibernation chamber and he and Sprocket will be re-united. How sweet!
* The mayor will also appear and tell you the story of what happened. Then you’ll see and hear bumps from below. There’s still work to be done.
* Jump up to the platforms on the right and get the Toxic Blaster. Then get back in your Mech and attach it.
* Take the elevator down to the next zone.

Tunnel System

* Move through the room and shoot down the attacking plants by aiming with the mouse and using the spacebar to fire. Kill all the plants.
* You want to end up on the platform just above the floor. If you miss it, you’ll need to stand on the bolt/screw thing and spin it to raise yourself up.
* There’s a moving platform here. Wait for it and then ride it across to the doorway and prepare for the final battle…

Plant Hive

* You’re now in the final boss battle. There are three boss monsters to kill and to make things even tougher, acid starts to fill the room from below. If you touch the acid, you lose and have to start over. You only have a short time to defeat each boss monster.
* The basic technique for all three monsters is to get up close enough so that they try to strike you with their heads. It’s kind of like the Hydra from Mythology Island. When they do, you can shoot them, causing a splat. Each monster needs to be splatted three times and then it will disappear and you can move on.

Tips for Defeating the 3 Plant Bosses

The basic moves you need to remember are these: move into position, duck, wait, shoot. Or if you want something easy to remember, stop, drop, and pop. By moving into position, I mean getting close enough to the boss monster that it starts to move its head and gets ready to attack. Next duck down and then wait until he attacks and his head goes back. He’ll be vulnerable for a second or two, so then you just blast him until you see him go Splat! Each boss needs to be hit like this three times. The first boss is easy, but the second and third boss have defenses that you need to take care of while attacking.

The first boss is easy-peasy. Here’s a chance to practice the basic moves that you’ll need to have down to beat the second and third bosses. Just remember the following.

* Move into position
* Duck and wait
* Shoot!

Hit the boss three times to make him go Splat for good and disappear. Then quickly move on to boss number two.
Poptropica Final Boss One

Duck and wait for the head to snap back and then shoot.

The second boss is a lot like the first one except he shoots seed pods at you. You must shoot these down or they’ll hit you and knock you back. When you hit both, then repeat the basic steps: move into position, duck and wait, and then shoot. Splat this guy three times and move on to boss number three.
Poptropica Steamworks Final Boss Two

Shoot the seed pods that the second boss hurls at you.

The third and final boss is the toughest of all. By now you’ve got the basic rhythm down, but there’s an added complication. Not only does this guy shoot seed pods at you, but he’s protected by powerful bombs that hang on the ceiling above you. If you are hit by one, the explosion will knock you back very far. If you’re not careful, you could get knocked all the way down into the acid below. Ick!

It makes sense to hang back and wait for some of the bombs to drop before you move in for the kill. Once the way is clear, shoot the seed pods he sends at you, then get in and repeat the basic steps. Get into position so that his head starts to move, then duck. Next wait for his head to snap back and then shoot. Hit him three times and it’s all over.
Poptropica Steamworks Island Final Boss Three

Watch out for these plant bombs that go boom!

After you defeat the final plant monster, you’ll re-appear next to the mayor, who will present you with the island medallion and 100 credits to spend at the Poptropica Store. Congratulations!

Again, a huge thanks goes to PoptropicaSecrets.com for writing this walkthrough!

Part one and two to a vacation gone wild.

Captain Crawfish's Steamworks Island travelogue

Believe it or not, we're only a week away from opening Steamworks Island to everyone! During the Early Access period, I've ventured away from Skullduggery Island to explore the mysteries of Steamworks.

Lucky for you, I took pictures! Settle in for a vacation slideshow like you've never seen. And no talking until I'm done.

One of the great things about Steamworks Island is how many different ways there are to get around. You might overlook this little bit of simple machinery on first glance.

But look what happens when you stand on it and start running!

It takes you all the way up the thread of the screw.

I know there's a mystery to solve on Steamworks Island, but I was having too much fun with this. As it turns out, that was a recurring theme of my trip.

Captain Crawfish's Steamworks Island travelogue, part 2

All right, has everybody had something to eat? Checked your email? Gone to the bathroom? I want to make sure you're all paying attention. It cost me a lot of money to have these pictures developed.

After having my fun with the nuts and bolts of Steamworks Island, next I happened upon some sort of massive, upward-blowing fan. Strange -- why was this functioning was so much of the machinery on the Island was rusted and useless?

No matter. When you come across airflow like this, you've got to ride the slipstream.

The wind rocketed me into the air!

These things are all over the place on Steamworks Island. You can really catch some air. You can probably use them to complete the quest, too, but why rush?

Why is there sand in the bottom right...

Four-wheel drive

Yesterday you saw an overhead shot of a vehicle from a new Poptropica Island. We've managed to get in a little closer to show you a more detailed picture.

Looks like fans of Poptropica have some off-roading in their future! But... what will you find off the beaten path?

I don't know how to describe this.

Top down, in more ways than one

We've got a sneak peek at some more development work being done on the newest Poptropica Island.

It's a top down view, and it looks like that SUV has its top down, too! What do you suppose is happening here?
