First thing, there is a new PCB post promoting the fireworks in the Poptropica Store since this Wednesday is the 4th of July.\

Independence Day is next week, and you know what that means: fireworks! If you're itching to get started on the skyrockets a little early, check out the Fireworks in the Poptropica Store. You can plant these festive rockets anywhere on Poptropica, and watch them explode across the sky!


BLACK WIDOW

In other news there are two new land masses on your now four page Poptropica Map. The new Island Wimpy Boardwalk and a new advertisement for the new Ice Age movie.

The new Ice Age advertisement is like the Alvin and the Chipmunks one, except only two of the four games work. The first game's plot involves you sailing to a safe point by following a compass and not being sunk by pirates the second is a memory game. Here are the prizes.

EDIT: It appears that in the Daily Pop the last few posts have been previewing an individual Multiplayer Room for each of the Poptropolis Tribes! Here they are!

Also I thought I would start a scavenger hunt every once in a while.
Here is how it will work. I will post a picture like this.

Is it just me or does this beach kinda look like a dump? Any way here is a photo of the Printable Poster.

I still can't wait for the new Members Only Items. They seem like they will be pretty cool. I have long awaited for a swim suit in Poptropica (other than that guy in Early Poptropica in the cavern)...

Going for the gold

The good thing about the Poptropolis Games is that you don't need to place first in every event in order to win the gold medallion. The winner of the Games is the one with the best overall performance, which means you can have a few clunkers and still come out on top.

It's a good thing, too! Some of these events are tough. I laid an egg on the pole vault the last time I played.

Some of you may have already won the gold medallion, but has anybody out there placed first in every single event? That's a feat we'd love to see!

Remember, Poptropolis Games is open to Members now. It will be available for everyone to play on June 14.

For me, Archery, Diving, and Javelin are some of the easiest while Weight Lifting, Hurtles, and Pole Vault are some of the harder ones. How about you? Have you ever gotten all firsts? The best I have done was around 5 firsts, 2 seconds, 1 fourth, and 1 seventh. Not to great, eh? But I have won it 3/4 times I have played it though. That first time is really hard so remember to do the practicing before you actually compete in the event. Finally, what do you think happened to the Space themed island that had previews popping up in the Daily Pop? Strange... Until next time!

With the announcement of the new Wimpy Kid Island, Wimpy Boardwalk, coming in earlier this week, now there is the announcement of the new book. Here is the post!

The third wheel legend

With the new Wimpy Boardwalk Island coming soon to Poptropica, this bit of news caught our eye: the cover for the next Diary of a Wimpy Kid book!

As many of you know, Wimpy author Jeff Kinney is the original creator of Poptropica. His next book, Diary of a Wimpy Kid: The Third Wheel, comes out this November. We can't wait to read it!

I'd like to introduce you to a friend of mine, Lone Heart. Lone Heart has pulled off an incredible feat, earning all 109 photos in Poptropica! That's amazing. And it must have taken a really long time.

How many photos have you earned in Poptropica? There are about four on every Island. Remember, if you've already played an Island before photos became available, you can restart it from your Island map and play it again to get photos.

Photos are just one small part of Poptropica Friends. We hope you're enjoying all the great new features as much as we enjoyed creating them!
