The predictions are correct, Captain Crawfish is the next villain to return to Poptropica!

Also the posts may be shorter and farther apart because of School, but weekends will be full of updates!

BLACK WIDOW

This island is pretty good. Not the best, or the longest, or the hardest, but defiantly better then the last couple. Best since Ghost Story probably, but that is just me! The big news from this island is you can change your eye color! Here is a hint: purple!
If you are not a member and can not wait to see the rest of the island, you can, sort of!

I am really looking forward to the upcoming Island that has Dr. Hare, Black Widow, and will most likely Captain Crawfish! I hope it will be at least the best island of the year. What do you think about Lunar Colony and the upcoming "Villain Island"

This looks just like the Dr. Hare poster, I wonder what will happen when you put them beside each other? Credit to ★Brave Tomato★ for the idea.

It fits perfectly, but here is the coolest thing about this! Look at the far right of the Black Widow poster....

It appears to be the mast of a ship! Could Captain Crawfish be coming back too? I believe he will be the next to be coming back! We will have to wait and see if he is the next to be featured in the preview of this "Villain Island"!

A Pirate Ninja?? That is correct! According to the new PCB post, Captain Crawfish's favorite ilsand is Red Dragon!

Creators' favorite Islands: Captain Crawfish's pick

Over the next week, we'll be sharing the Poptropica creators' picks for their favorite Islands. Today: Captain Crawfish.

My favorite is Red Dragon Island. I love the art for old Japan, and I especially like all the cool ninja powers you learn to use near the end. You wouldn't expect an old sea salt with a peg leg could master the grappling hook, but I did it!

Yesterday, we showed you the trailer for the next Poptropica Island, Poptropolis Games. Now, we've got even more details!

The city of Poptropolis rises from the sea once every 100 years to host a tournament devoted to proving tribal supremacy. In Poptropolis Games, you'll choose a tribe to represent, and compete in several track and field events in pursuit of the championship. It won't be easy!

Things are about to get very spooky on Poptropica!

So what do we see here? A non-playable character ghost is flying around while the player is standing in the middle of Shrink Ray island. Why wouldn't he see you and why would you hide. I think it's about time to find out!

Also I have gotten a 5 star battle ranking! But while doing this I saw some weird things... People holding pets... Is this going to be in Poptropica's future or is it from an add? There was the Barbie add almost a year ago that let you hold a dog, but how do you get a cat? We will have to wait and see.

Dogs in the Dead of Night

You may not know this about me, but your old pal Captain Crawfish loves to read. That's why I was so happy to see that the Magic Tree House store on Red Dragon Island has been updated.

Time goes by so quickly on Poptropica. Hard to believe that it's been a year since we started working on Skullduggery Island. Here's an early sketch of the Phoenix Warbird, dated from April 2010.

Captain Crawfish's Steamworks Island travelogue

Believe it or not, we're only a week away from opening Steamworks Island to everyone! During the Early Access period, I've ventured away from Skullduggery Island to explore the mysteries of Steamworks.

Lucky for you, I took pictures! Settle in for a vacation slideshow like you've never seen. And no talking until I'm done.

One of the great things about Steamworks Island is how many different ways there are to get around. You might overlook this little bit of simple machinery on first glance.

But look what happens when you stand on it and start running!

It takes you all the way up the thread of the screw.

I know there's a mystery to solve on Steamworks Island, but I was having too much fun with this. As it turns out, that was a recurring theme of my trip.

All right, has everybody had something to eat? Checked your email? Gone to the bathroom? I want to make sure you're all paying attention. It cost me a lot of money to have these pictures developed.

After having my fun with the nuts and bolts of Steamworks Island, next I happened upon some sort of massive, upward-blowing fan. Strange -- why was this functioning was so much of the machinery on the Island was rusted and useless?

No matter. When you come across airflow like this, you've got to ride the slipstream.

The wind rocketed me into the air!

These things are all over the place on Steamworks Island. You can really catch some air. You can probably use them to complete the quest, too, but why rush?
