This week Super Villain Island was released to everyone! Do you dare venture into the minds of the dastardly villains of Erewhon Prison? Can you take on the evil Dr. Jupiter Zeus? • Charlie and The Chocolate Factory Island

The info page for the new island has been relesed along with all of the goodies that go along with it!

 "After years of silence, Willy Wonka's magical chocolate factory is re-opening, and you've got a Golden Ticket. But when a group of misbehaving kids threaten to destroy Wonka's candy creations, he needs you to save the day. Prepare to untangle a confectionary conundrum that's full of sweet treats and sticky situations!"

So it appears that the we will be finding the last golden ticket! On the info page you can find four preview photos, a printable poster, a wall paper, and a link to the book and original movie!

• Store Items

As it is every Halloween, all of the monster costumes, Frankenstein, Ware-wolf, Swap Monster, Vapmpire, Haunted House, etc. are all moved to the front of the store, but this year there is a new spooky costume in town!
In my opinion, this suit is much better then the old skeleton suit that was obtainable through winning Haunted House. This looks much more like a real skeleton on the body because of the depth. You can see the spine behind the ribs! How cool is that! The only When you press "I'm a skeleton", you are turned into that skeleton you see at the left. But be warned! You don't customize this! When you press "I'm a skeleton", you are instantly wearing that entire suit. So if you have an awesome costume on, it will be gone. When you press "I see skeleons" everyone on the screen, including you, becomes a skeleton!

• Big News

Congratulations to Poptropica for having over a half billion different characters created!

500,000,000 Poptropicans and counting!

It's been a year of milestones for Poptropica. 5 years, 30 Islands, and now this: 500,000,000 characters created.

If Poptropica were a country, it would be the third biggest in the world. Thank you to everyone who is a part of Poptropica!

It's prom season once again, and that's why the featured costumes in the Poptropica Store are the Prom King and Prom Queen costumes.

The Prom King comes iwth a special action that you can activate by pressing the space bar, and the Prom Queen has five different color options to choose from.

And remember, you can costumize all or part of these costumes to create your own unique look. You might even invent a costume that no one in Poptropica has ever worn before!

2 new PCB posts and one is... look for yourself....

The robot struts its stuff
I cut a rug. I boogied down. I busted a move. Yet my new robot friend was unimpressed. When I challenged him to show me something better, he paused for a moment. I could hear a whirring sound behind his eyes.

Then, a surprise!

This little fella apparently has a few tricks up its sleeve.

"What else can you do?" I asked, a little bit uncertain of whether I wanted to know the answer. The machine extended another appendage that had previously been hidden. It was beginning to remind me of a Swiss army knife.



I wasn't quite sure what it was doing, but I knew it looked useful. "Say," I said, an idea forming in my mind, "you wouldn't want to come along with me on Steamworks Island, would you?"

He nodded his assent, and we were off on a great adventure!

Poptropica Members will be able to join Sprocket when Early Access to Steamworks Island begins on Thursday, August 12. Steamworks island will be open to all on September 9.

There are two new store items. One is Fireworks: Express yourself with a bang and Atom Power: Feel the power.

Astro-Knights are invading Poptropica!

There are 4 new suits in the Poptropica store. Here is the post "Here is our complete line up of new knights in the store. Boys and girls can both have a new Astro - Knight and a Dark Knight. Here is a recap of the new suits.

Earth Knight: Helmet that opens and closes, leaves that trail behind with movement.

Heart Knight: Helmet that opens and closes, hearts that trail behind with movement.

Dark Knight: One look at this knight makes the weak at heart duck for cover.
