Virus Hunter Bonus Items!

With the release of Virus Hunter Island nearing closer every day, we are seeing the release of the Member's Only bonus items!
First, we have the Virtual Virus Costume,  which lets you become the virus. Having four creepy legs, crawling around on everything. Eekk!The costume is broken up into two parts, the head which acts as a helmet, and the body, which gives you those four creepy legs.

Next is the Inside-Out Power. This lets you see deeper inside yourself than you have ever seen before. You can use this power to turn both yourself and others turned inside out!

The sneezing powder is still on the way, so be on the look out!

I do wonder where in the world are the other two items, the Silent Treatment power, and the Clapperboard item? I guess only time will tell. Let's hope that we see the next two items and a release date for Back Lot Island some time soon!

Your Night Watch News!

Hey there! There is a lot of news circulating around the newest Island lately.
 First off the Members Only items have bee released for Night Watch Island!

The Cat Burglar Costumes are pretty much the same, but boys get a grappling hook and girls get a cat tail. The Whoopzie Cushion makes a fart sound every time someone steps on one, so you will want to turn off your volume. The Burnt Orange Tan Power literally burns you orange. Those tanning beds are dangerous.

After the stores have closed and the shoppers have all gone home, the mall is your playground. But are you alone on the night watch... or is someone watching you? From escaped animals to creeping cat burglars, get ready to find out what really happens after hours!

Bonus Quest!
A training robot has gone haywire and scattered valuable collectibles around the mall. You'll have to explore every nook and cranny of the building in order to bring them all back! Find out how to get Membership now!

This has been a big year for Poptropica! So many updates, 9 new islands, many new suits, new additions to the game! I thought I would put together a timeline of some of the big things.

January
1st: Happy New Year, it's 2012. There are only 23 Islands.
6th: The trailer for S.O.S. Island is released.
12th: Ghost Story Island is now released to all.
13th: We get the first look at the Friends feature on the PCB.
19th: The Creators announce the first ever Members Only Bonus Quest.
26th: S.O.S. Island is released for Members.

February
6th: We get our first look at Vampire's Curse on the PCB.
7th: Vampire's Curse Island is announced.
15th: The Vampire's Curse trailer is relesed.
16th: S.O.S. is released to all.
22nd: We get a look at the Photo feature of Friends on the PCB.
29th: The map is transferred to a Multi-Page system.

March
1st: Vampire's Curse is released to Members.
8th: We get the first look at Twisted Thicket.
14th: The Pie costumes are released on "Pi Day"
14th: The trailer for Twisted Thicket is released.
22nd: Vampire's Curse is released to all.
23rd: The Waffle costumes are released.
30th: We see a preview of the Pop-Quiz feature.

1st: The Creators post the Nose joke, that all Poptropicans are getting noses.
2nd: The Fake Noses item is released in the store.

28th: We get a look at a mall that is part of an upcoming Island.

First of all there is a gazoo of new things in the store.

New in the Poptropica Store

We have a few new things to share this week in the Poptropica Store. First, Poptropica Members can now get their exclusive Poptropolis Games gear!

These Member-only items include a snazzy Wrestling Singlet costume, a handheld Discus that you can throw around the screen, and the incredible Plant-a-Statue power, which lets you bring a little bit of the Poptropolis Games to any Island in Poptropica.

But that's not all! There's also a new costume in the store, available to everyone with Membership or credits.

Now, if somebody calls you a big baby, you can tell them they're right, and throw a fit to prove it.

See the "Poptropolis 2012?" Will there be a new Potropolis every year? Or every 4 years like the Olympics? Will there be new Members only? Will there be multiple islands? The name on top is different for each island? Curious...

The tribes of Poptropica

Choosing your tribe in Poptropolis Games is no small decision. You'll fly your tribe's colors both in the game, and on your personality profile. Here's your first look at a few of the tribal logos.

Pretty nice, eh? That's only half of them. There are still four more to be revealed!

Over the next several week we'll be bringing you even more information about Poptropolis Games, including all of the tribal names and icons!

Cool, eh? Is it just me or does the first one look like Hydra from Captain America and the Avengers (saw that last night, it was awesome!).
 There is also some more news!
In the Poptropica Friends Preview video, the sample username put in was "MonsterCarnival2012". You can still friend this person who has won three islands and answered three quiz questions. This has made a lot of speculation. First off... Monster Carnival 2012??? Is it coming back in 2012? Also the preview image for the video shows the word Monster Carnival 2012. Many people believe that this means it is defiantly coming back.
And finally..
Our Island Guide, Game Guide, and Rare Items pages have been updated. They are completely up to date so go on over and check it out! Also I have added a new page called "Poptropicans" so check it out and tell me if I should continue or delete it.
